OUR NEEDS

We offer many opportunities for the community to get involved with Thanh Tam’s special school in Danang, fundraising efforts, building and grounds maintenance, tutoring programmes and volunteer projects. Our seasonal and year-round needs include cash and in-kind donations, corporate and school service projects and volunteer opportunities.

HOW WE STARTED

A convent maintained by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres in the Danang diocese covers 13 civilian provinces including cities in the northern and central regions of the country.
Thanh Tam‘s special school grew out of charity’s missions of Sister of St Paul de Chartres in Danang, Vietnam where teachers experienced first-hand the scarcity of learning materials for disabled students.
Public opinion indicated that many people would like to help distressed disabled students, but they were frustrated by a lack of influence over their donations. We create this website so that individuals could connect directly with classrooms in need.
Our mission: to engage the public in special education by giving people a simple, accountable and personal way to address educational inequity.
Our vision: We envision integration for the disabled students in a region of Quang Nam and Danang, providing them with the tools and experiences needed for an excellent education.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO CONTINUE!
