We offer many opportunities for the community to get involved with Thanh Tam’s special school in Danang, fundraising efforts, building and grounds maintenance, tutoring programmes and volunteer projects. Our seasonal and year-round needs include cash and in-kind donations, corporate and school service projects and volunteer opportunities.

A convent maintained by the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres in the Danang diocese covers 13 civilian provinces including cities in the northern and central regions of the country.
Thanh Tam‘s special school grew out of charity’s missions of Sister of St Paul de Chartres in Danang, Vietnam where teachers experienced first-hand the scarcity of learning materials for disabled students.
Social studies sensed that many people would like to help distressed disabled students, but were frustrated by a lack of influence over their donations. We create this website so that individuals could connect directly with classrooms in need.
Our mission: engages the public in special education by giving people a simple, accountable and personal way to address educational inequity.
Our vision: We envision integration where disabled students in a region of Quang Nam and Danang have the tools and experiences needed for an excellent education.

Our team is vigilant about providing end-to-end integrity for each project funded through our congregation. To that end, we:
Insure every project request validation by the board’s members of Thanh Tam’s special school.
Process donor transactions using the most secure and trusted technology available.
Purchase the classroom materials, shipping items directly to the school and alerting the principal when the materials are on their way.
Provide photos of the project taking place, teacher and student letters, and a cost report showing how every dollar was spent.
